Announcing our 2022 Adult Learn-to-Swim Program
Marin Aquatic Masters certified Adult Learn-to-Swim instructors and volunteers will be offering FREE Adult Learn-to-Swim Lessons (ALTS) in Summer 2022!
This outstanding community outreach program is for adults with little to no swimming experience. Whether you are afraid of the water, or just never had the chance to learn, we will help you feel safe and enjoy being in the water. Our instructors will guide you through the U.S. Masters Swimming ALTS curriculum at your own pace.
The program will cover:

relaxed breathing basics

front and back float, glide and kick

freestyle with breathing

deep water entry/exit

treading water
-
other swim strokes

Indian Valley College Pool, 1800 Ignacio Blvd, Novato, CA. The IVC campus is about 2.7 miles west of Highway 101 in Marin County. Take the Ignacio Blvd exit in Novato and head west. Go all the way to the end of Ignacio Blvd. Click HERE for more information on location.
